Escalators, motorway service stations and pirated copies: Sinnthese's debut album ‘Sünder und Sinnstifter’ (Sinners and Sinnstifter) deals with the myths of everyday life. Trivial-radical text fragments meet an experimental NDW sound that oscillates between reduced pop and sound collages.

In the footsteps of the hyperactive cassette perpetrators, existential and banal things are proclaimed: ‘God is dead - unfortunately I have to live’. While the Korg MS20 hums unperturbed and the 606 rattles.

The tracks were written and recorded between 2020 and 2024 by Jakob Henneken, who studies experimental music in Vienna and regularly tours Germany and the surrounding European countries with his synth-pop project.
